Welcome to the Home Page of Shift. We are a passionate Youth Ministry that Loves Fun, Loves God and Loves People. We are eagerly chasing the will of God; Study his Word and Learning His ways. We are a worshipping bunch, with energy, life and charisma. We love to serve, to love God and we enjoy a good time wherever we can get it.

 

Situated on the Corner of Springfield and Middleborough Rds in Blackburn North; we hold youth events on fridays and Sundays, check our flyer of the bulletin board above for more details. Fridays mean good times, with games, relaxation, social times and a place to bring friends and hang out while Sundays are where we get down to business. Sundays we open the word, we go deep, we learn heaps and we aren't afraid to ask the big questions. From the platform and in Small groups sundays are a great place to meet up with leaders and have dinner before Sunday Night Church.

This Prophecy was placed upon our youth ministry a few years ago and we have not let go of it. We are called to be vast, to be mighty. We are called to be an army, to fight for out generation. We are called to be the Children of God that change to world.

Shift is the Youth Ministry of NewHope Baptist Church, a Name-change from 'NextGen Ministries' under the new leadership of Pastor Mark Purser and Michael Tilley. The New name and the new face of the NewHope youth is set to be a really positive time for God to institute change and move the culture of the ministry forward into it's God-given destiny. A Vast and Mighty army.
